HMRC Planned Downtime

HMRC has issued details of planned downtime, which will mean some services are unavailable.

To allow for scheduled maintenance you will be unable to access some HMRC online services between 4pm on Saturday 17^th August and 4pm Monday 19^th August 2019.

During maintenance you will be unable to:

• Sign up for Making Tax Digital
• Submit returns
• View your previous submissions and payment details
• Set up new direct debits or cancel or amend existing direct debits
• Review and update any business details

HMRC advise that agents will be able to access their Agent Services Account, but will not be able to:

• Sign up clients
• Submit returns
• View and amend client details

The service availability page on gov.uk is updated with details of the downtime and any updates will be posted there first.

HMRC has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.
